Emerging Professionals Showcase

Shortly after joining Central Ohio ATD, I volunteered to serve on the professional development committee.  The vice president for professional development assigned the task of coordinating the Emerging Professionals Showcase, a virtual event in which new T&D practitioners deliver a 15-minute presentation on a training and development topic.  

The successful event took place November 9, 2021.  Tasks I completed include:

• developing a project management plan

• collaborating with stakeholders to plan the event

• securing coaches and presenters

• designing the program

• developing performance criteria rubric for coaches and participants 

• developing promotional materials and coordinating event promotion

• producing the event via Zoom
